Disappointed in quality for the price

I expected more from an item with a 4.4/5.0 stars based on close to 4,000 ratings. I'll give it a couple more days to see if I can adjust to it, but I'll probably end up returning it.The seat is extremely narrow. I don't have an overly large behind but it would have to be tiny to fit comfortably in between the raised areas along the sides of the seat. The back "cushion" (I'll get to that in a moment) makes it so you feel like you're sitting too far forward on the seat. Without the "cushion" the seat is so deep you have to lean forward to reach your desk, which negates the idea of lumbar support. The seat is also extremely hard. There's no give to it at all. I don't know what their definition of soft cushion is but it's definitely different from mine. It certainly looks cushy in the picture, but it's kind of like sitting on a board with a blanket laid over it.What they call a back cushion feels more like a rock to me. It is so hard and uncomfortable. It doesn't have any give to it and makes you feel like you're arching your back nonstop. I unzipped it to see what it was. It's a piece of hard foam. You can't even squish it with your hands unless you squeeze it super hard. Maybe if I jump up and down on it several times I can break the foam down enough to make it soft to lean against. The head cushion isn't placed properly and isn't adjustable. When I lean back, it's right in the middle of the top of my back. As another person mentioned, you have to adjust it up every time you move so it's back in the proper spot. The armrests aren't adjustable. To have the chair at the height I want it at, I can't roll up to my desk because the armrests hit the edge of it. I can't make it high enough for the handles to go over my desk so my only option is to sit too low so they'll go under the desk. They also feel very flimsy. It feels like any pressure put on them will snap them off. If you use them to brace yourself when you get up out of the chair, you can actually feel them bend. The "footrest" is awkward because you have to spread your legs wide, pull it out from under the chair, and then flip the resting pad so it's facing up. It also feels very flimsy. I keep expecting it to snap off when I rest my legs on it. Additionally, I wouldn't call it a footrest. You'd have to have super short legs for that to be a footrest. When it's fully extended it's a calf rest for me. Someone taller than me, it would probably be a knee rest.Lastly, you have to be sitting in the chair to adjust the height and once you lift that handle the chair drops like an elevator that just broke loose from the cables supporting it. It's very hard to press down with your hand. You have to put a lot of weight behind it to get it to lower. I suppose you could lean over it and use your knee while lifting the handle.

Perfect as a beginner chair for anyone whose under 5'5

This chair is perfect for me, I am 5'2 and weigh 107. If you're a smaller person like me then this chair is gonna be perfect for you. In terms of comfort, it could be a little more cushiony for my liking but an additional cushion/pillow should fix that. All in all, it's a great chair for smaller people who are looking to purchase their first gaming chair. As long as you follow instructions as well, it should take you no time to put this together.

Comfortable chair

Very easy to put together, and VERY comfortable. I was a little surprised. This was bought for my 15 year old, who is 5'11 and 200 football player. It didn't seem like it was going to really fit him, but it does and he really likes it. It reclines easily and the footrest is pretty awesome.

Very Comfortable

I bought this chair for working from home. I love this chair, it's so much more comfortable than my previous office chair. The only thing I don't like is the armrests are really hard, but I will purchase padded covers for them. Overall, this chair was a bargain.

Instructions aren’t perfect

So I struggled with this for a little because the instructions that came with the chair were for a different model of this chair. I figured it out eventually though and got it all out together. Looks great, leans back, adjustable seat, footrest everything works well.

Buy A Different Chair

Assembly takes a little while but no real problem there. It's when you finally finish and get to sit in the chair. The chair is very uncomfortable. Think of one of them folding metal chairs you use at a party that has the little patch of padding. Now imagine that's the same padding all over the chair just covered in pleather! It's hard to sit in for more than an hour. I used it last night and this morning I could feel my butt sore. I'm 25 so it's not my body aging either. They give you two little cushions for support but tge cushions are terrible! They're not soft, they're very firm and I couldn't even keep the top one on because it felt so uncomfortable against my upper body. All in all, I give it a 2½/5. Please buy something else. It looks nice and that's it. I promise you won't regret getting another chair. I'm not looking at it with high standards either. It's genuinely just straight up uncomfortable. I might go for a refund!

Very comfortable chair for gaming, very good for the money, the leg rest however is a bit flimsy, might be ok for really skinny people or kids but lumberjack- like men will feel like they’re gonna break it right off when they go to rest their legs on it

Great chair for a great price!

Is as described. Could be a little more plush and leg rest feels a little flimsy, but great chair for the price. Super easy to put together.

Question: Does the leg rest retract? I do not see any photo showing that.

Answer: It certainly does move back and forth. Under the seat, the footrest may rotate 360 degrees and be inverted.

Question: What are the max lbs? The chair's weight limit is rated to hold safely and not self-destruct, 150#, 250#, and 350#. It should say on the chair.

Answer: This chair can support up to 280 pounds. It won't budge even when I try to press all 270 pounds of me down on it. I found it to be quite durable for the price after putting it together. My office chair, which I spent three times as much money on, appears to be stronger and more stable than this one. Although not unduly strenuous, assembling the seat needed some muscle to tighten bolts and join the seat body to the frame.

Question: What is the measurement of the seat width and max weight?

Answer: Dimensions include 15" x 19.7", 20.5" x 30" back, and 14.3" to 17.5" seat height. The maximum weight capacity is 280 lbs.
