Like many other gaming laptops from Acer and other manufacturers, the Acer Nitro 5 is a great choice for beginning video editors. This durable laptop, priced at under $1,000, combines the minimum necessary features with a little extra power in the graphics area. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 with 4GB of RAM is the best graphics card for video editors, especially those who use CPU-intensive software. With a maximum clock speed of 4.1GHz, the i5-9300H processor in this laptop is comparable to many others in its price range. Remember that this is a 9th-generation processor so it won't be the most energy-efficient option.

You won't experience stuttering when video editing software with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM. This number won't be adequate if you make changes while using multiple tabs in your browser. An SSD with 256GB of capacity is available. The Nitro 5's IPS display is equivalent to Acer's other gaming laptops. High definition (1920 x 1080) quality and true-to-life colours are features of this 15.6-inch monitor. However, we believe Acer could have made the bezel better. A truly immersive viewing experience may suffer from the bezels' present huge size.

Video editors will love the game keyboard on this laptop. Even if you tend to take shortcuts, the layout is strong and may last longer. But the trackpad is, at best rudimentary. A more comfortable typing experience is provided by the 1.8mm key travel and rounded keycaps.

Question: Can I play oculus rift on this

Answer: Yes. I7 and RTX 5470, 54728c score. Plays back well in virtual reality. This is the exact reason I bought it! On the other hand, I have a quest connection that works flawlessly.

Question: Does the 8GB version come with 1 stick of ram that's 8GB? or 2x 4GB ram sticks? I want to get 16GB ram, but not sure. Which ram is compatible?

Answer: I have recently upgraded to 32GB of RAM (two 16GB sticks), operating at 3200 MHz. The Acer Nitros' memory can likely be increased to 64 GB if you direct your efforts upward. However, 16 GB is more than enough for the majority of individuals, and that is rather expensive. Two 4 GB DDR4-3200MHz modules were included in the 16 GB model I bought. However, I chose the 16 GB device instead of the 32 GB model since I wanted that extra memory. There's no need to worry about making a mistake because you can easily upgrade to a more recent edition if you discover that you require additional RAM or storage after you've already made your original purchase.

Question: How many fps do you get on Fortnite low settings?

Answer: I guess the frame rate will be between 60 and 120 due to the minimal hardware requirements. It's not a particularly demanding game because this laptop can handle all the new games I've loaded without requiring me to lower the visual settings. However, the most important question is why someone would even consider installing Fortnite.
