1. PrntSc Key

Snip and Sketch are easier to access and a bit advanced than the Snipping tool for taking screenshots in Windows 10. You can launch it with keyboard shortcuts, Windows key + Shift key + S, or search it in your start menu, where it is listed as Screen Snip.

• Once launched through a keyboard shortcut, your screen will get dimmer, and a tiny menu bar will come on the top of the screen.
• Here, you can select the type of shape of your screenshot and other options.
• After taking the screenshot, it will save it to the clipboard and send you a notification at the down-left side of your screen.
• Open the screenshot from the notification and in the Snip and Sketch app to further annotate, draw, save and share your screenshot.

If you launch the Snip and Sketch from your start menu, you have to go through an extra step. It opens a whole window instead of a small menu bar. From the window menu, select New from upper-left to capture the screen. If you click on the down arrow button next to New, it gives you control of delaying a screenshot by 3-10 seconds.
